Another Summer Being Fat

I am really glad that summer is almost over. I am, not gonna lie, I have never liked this season. Being fat during summer is not a good combination. It gets hot, your thighs sweat; actually everything sweats, and when you can't wear the proper attire because you look like a beached whale, what is there left to enjoy? The only good things are slurpees and ice cream and that only feels good for the entire minute it takes to consume them.

Every fat person secretly hates the summer ... it's true. Some just won't admit it because then people will think that it's because they are fat and they don't want people thinking that. Every April I tell myself "Ok, this summer I am going to finally be skinny and wear a bathing suit" something I have not done since I was 11 when I had not yet discovered self-consciousness. So far, that summer has not come yet - boo hoo. I am not going to feel sorry for myself, it takes a lot more that slurpees and ice cream to be fat and I have done a lot to get to where I am.

So ... as this heat wave that we are experiencing wraps up and soon summer will turn into fall, I know in my heart that next summer, I will wear a bathing suit. Maybe I will be ambitious enough to wear a bikini!

  2. First and foremost, CONGRATULATIONS! I am over the moon for you soon to be skinny HOT chicks! I'm sorry Summer is such a drag. If you could only change your mentality, you'd realize that the Summer actually makes you skinnier. Yep, the Sunshine stimulants your pineal gland which releases serotonin and certain hormones that suppress your appetite along with a bunch of other amazing things... all this ends up making you happier & skinnier. Just a little science from some DUMB MODEL who is cheering you on! Best Wishes, Xo, SarahDeAnna (@ModelSkinny)

  3. Thank you Sarah! Your support is very encouraging and we both appreciate you taking the time to comment here.

You are correct, summer can actually be a good thing if you let it. You can't beat science so at least we have that on our side!
To be honest with you, I actually do find that I eat better during summer; mostly because the heat makes me lose my appetite for anything that is hot or REALLY filling so salads end up being on heavy rotation in the menu.

Next summer will be a breeze ;)
